Diese Hornkoralle ist recht anspruchslos was die Wasserbedingungen angeht. Sie wächst bei guter Beleuchtung auch recht schnell und verzweigt sich. Eine Vermehrung ist durch abschneiden einzelner Äste recht einfach. Auch diese Koralle ernährt sich ausschließlich durch ihre Zooxanthellen und braucht nicht extra gefüttert zu werden.
